CATHEDRAL CITY, CA. – No. 16/19 University of Missouri Softball (8-3) travels west for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic to play five games, including three against the top 10 teams, each from the Pac- 12.
The Tigers will open the weekend by taking on No. 9/11 Oregon and former Big 12 foe Texas Tech on Friday. The first pitch for each game is set for 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. CT, respectively.
Mizzou will continue the tough schedule with San Diego State and No. 5 Washington at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday before closing out the weekend with No. 6 UCLA on Sunday.
Jordan Weber has continued his dominance in the circle since the 2021 playoffs. Weber holds a .90 ERA over his last 62 pitched innings while holding opposing hitters to a .095 batting average. Pitcher Mizzou holds a 1.39 ERA over the year.
Laurin Krings threw his first no-hitter against Bethune-Cookman at the Spring Games while striking out eight batters. Krings lost a no-hitter bid in the 2021 NCAA Columbia Regional against Northern Iowa with two outs in the seventh inning.
