Folk singer Michael Johnathon is set to close the 2021 season of WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour Monday December 6th at the Lyric Theater in Lexington with award-winning Bluegrass duo Darin and Brooke Aldrige. The North Carolina husband and wife couple, multiple IBMA winners, will perform songs from their critically acclaimed latest album, This Life We’re Living.
On December 6, Italian-born American singer-songwriter Cristina Vane will also perform music from her massive debut album, Nowhere Sounds Lovely. Rolling Stone recently said that Vane brought up Bonnie Rait and PJ Harvey on his single “Badlands”.
